the sun was setting in the distance.
its rays filling up the back seat of the car as we drove.
my belly was full and so was my heart.
carefree and happy, here we were.
those summer nights.
though late,
light still filled up the sky,
and light filled our hearts.
our insides bursting with gratitude for the kindness of our Maker
and the precious thing He has given us in true fellowship with like-minded hearts and sincere friends.
so thank you, God...thank you so much.
