It was late.

Like real late.

I had just gotten off work and was about to wash all the soy sauce residue from my tired body when the text message came.

Would you want to get together and take pictures in the morning?

My tired self perked right up and got all giddy.

So, bright and early we headed out...

I brought each of us a mug of french press to take on the drive

and Jon Thurlow played from the ipod.

We both gasped when we saw that gorgeous 6am sun rising above the treeline.

It was truly breathtaking!!

Speaking of breathtaking, this little lady is kinda beautiful...
