*scarlett + phoenix* [children's photography]

Friends, meet Scarlett and her brother, Phoenix.
Scarlett is the equivalent of an adult woman trapped in a 5-year-old's body...so grown up and more personality than can fit in a camera frame :)
She is so fun and I love how she is just instantly comfortable with people!
And Phoenix...those eyes!! Those big brown eyes and lashes that make you swoon.
He has the sweetest little smile and giggle too.
Oh, and he lovvves to say "hi" to all who are around! His mother adoringly shared this with me earlier before the session, and as Phoenix sat on a bench next to an old man in the park, I saw the proof with my own eyes.
"HIIII!!!!" :)

Their mom insisted that I get in a picture with them, too :)

Here I am sweaty, but happy after running after these little ones for 2 hours.

"Any KC piercing parlor recommendations?"
"I've heard good things about 'Freaks on 39th' and I went with Angela there to her her nose pierced once."

"Let's go after work!!"
So we did.

Today, Tamara got her nose and nape (back of neck) pierced and we decided to document the little adventure.
I would just like to report that Tamara, though with a history of fainting easily, did not faint ;) 

She was pretty much a champ!

*hannah* [senior session]

I had so, so, so much fun on my senior session with Hannah!!

This girl is so easy to photograph! Besides the obvious reasons of her gorgeous, deep brown eyes and long wavy locks, she is easy to photograph because she is just such a confident girl and so comfortable in her own skin - qualities that are not always common.

Hannah is also so full of life. 

I am excited to see dreams in her heart come forth in this next season of life for her. 

Post-grad plans? Peru for 6 months. Hannah, I am so excited for you! :)
